I was talking with a colleague and we were discussing the ZTNA, it is surprising how long Zero Trust has been around. The whole concept of Zero Trust is that the model of 'Trust' and 'Untrusted' is changed to 'Trust no one'.
Very X Files!
The thing is, we have had the concepts around for quite a while and also the tools, I think a bigger issue was that not everyone realised they had access to Zero Trust capabilities, they just didn't know what they had & how to set them up.
As an example, the NetScaler appliance could be used to add granular Geographic blocking. So, a simple policy command could limit who has access using the bundled database.

What does that look like? The following Video has a quick show and tell and briefly goes over the configuration points for setting up Geo-blocking with NetScaler.
Summary
Naturally, it will not stop everyone. However, this could form part of a layered security model.
That sounds handy! Who knew?
