Ability to troubleshoot application health and gain security insights on Elasticsearch
Catch up on a recent webinar
The NetScaler team presented a webinar on NetScaler integration with Elasticsearch, featuring Aman Sood and Mayur Patil as speakers.
The demo showcased a sample Kibana dashboard visualising NetScaler transaction records sent to Elasticsearch. NetScaler can generate transaction records that can provide insights for Web, TCP and ICA traffic, Gateway etc.
Use cases for analysing transaction logs include identifying application errors, slowness, and popular URLs.
NetScaler sends detailed transaction records to Elasticsearch, including HTTP methods, response codes, user agents, and client IP addresses.
Configuration involves creating an API key in Elasticsearch and configuring a service for NetScaler to reach Elastic service and an analytics profile. The analytics profile is then bound to the lbvserver
Customers, like a multinational bank, utilize this integration to monitor and troubleshoot their applications.
Benefits of NetScaler observability include native integration, agentless data export, and configuration automation.
The webinar concluded with a Q&A session and a discussion on future observability integrations.
